Early in the morning the explorers will meet at 7am at the passenger dock "Muelle Acuario" where they will board the adventure of the day. Several sites around San Cristobal await the arrival of new adventurers every day. Particularly this tour has an interesting itinerary with the visit to emblematic sites including Cerro Brujo, Punta Pitt, and El León Dormido.
We will start the navigation and after about 60 minutes we will arrive at the imposing rock wit as Sleeping Lion where we will make our first Snorkeling. Clearly in this place it is impossible to disembark, so this time we will focus on exploring the underwater world. The explorers get ready to enjoy a quantity of marine fauna that is very easy to visualize having as protagonist’s different species such as sea turtles, sharks, schools of fish, sea lions, among others.
The exploration continues to the mysterious Cerro Brujo where we will be around 30 minutes to observe in a panoramic way the Sleeping Lion through a stone channel. You will also visit La Cathedral, a rock that is part of this formation.
The next destination will be Sardina Bay where a landing will be made to enjoy the beach area. We will take a walk along the beach to observe a colony of sea lions that inhabit the site. After the hike we will have a snorkeling session to observe the wonderful marine life that Galápagos offers.
After snorkeling, the explorers will return to the boat to serve themselves a spectacular lunch prepared by the crew members, designed to recover energy, and continue with the tour.
The next point of visit will be Punta Pitt where a small demonstration of experiential fishing is carried out to explain the main economic activity that Galapagos had. You will also pass by an islet trying to observe endemic birds such as the Red-footed boobies that usually pose on the stones.
Punta Pitt is composed of volcanic tuff substrate of high erodibility. The strong winds present in this place, together with the erosive action of the water during the rainy seasons have caused a natural erosion that scolded the cliffs giving them spectacular shapes.
Rosa Blanca Bay will be the last point of visit where you will make a landing and a short walk of 25 minutes until you reach the so-called "shark lagoons". Bahía Rosa Blanca has one of the best beaches of fine sand on the whole island where we will stay around 1h30.
