LOS TUNELES
Is a remarkable semi-submerged lava formation known as Los Tuneles. Here the pahoehoe lava has flowed into the sea and subsequently been eroded leaving a labyrinth of passages and archways. It is a really good site for the geology, but also for the arly colonizer vegetation and the wildlife, not just Marine Iguanas and Blue-footed Boobies, but myriads of reef fish as well as sharks, rays and turtles.

We will start this wonderful adventure in the morning starting from the main passenger pier, sailing along the coast of Isabela Island for approximately sixty minutes observing beautiful landscapes until we reach our first Snorkeling point located in Cabo Rosa or as it is commonly known: Los Túneles.
During the snorkeling tour we can observe large pan rays, white tip sharks, reef fish and even seahorses, it will be very easy through its crystal clear waters to observe sea turtles, blue sharks and hopefully penguins. After approximately 45 minutes of water activity, the explorers will return to the boat where they will have time to rest and taste snacks prepared by the crew.
Once the energies are recharged, we will hike on Cabo Rosa. In this site you can see the Blue-footed nesting, this allows a good approach and enough time to observe their natural interaction. During the walk you can observe the volcanic formations that give the name to this tour, several tunnels and lava bridges will be seen on the surface.
Once the walk is finished, we will return to Puerto Villamil, with great luck on the way you can see dolphins or Oceanic Manta Rays accompanying the boat in the currents.
